Technologyoverview

The technology, basedupon eutectic point and utilizing the balance among ice, salt and solution ateutectic point, controls the operating temperature in each unit to realize thethree-phase separation of ice(water), salt and mother liquor, thereby obtainingone or a variety of highly purified salts. In a water-salt mixture, theposition of the eutectic point is determined by ion types in the solution, and theeutectic point is also different in different systems.

Saltywastewater is fed into the crystallizer, and ice and salt are simultaneouslycrystallized at the eutectic point in a specific system. Utilizing thethree-phase (eg. ice, salt and mother liquor) density discrepancy, ice and saltare separated from the crystallized solution (or mother liquor) by filtering toremove mother liquor. The liquid carried by salts is removed by means such asbelt filtration, centrifuge, etc., thus obtaining the desired products whilereturning filtrate to the crystallizer.  

Technicaladvantages

Ø  Strong compatibilityfor water qualities, no strict requirements for feeding water such as saltcomposition, hardness and COD, etc.

Ø  Although an enrichmentof corrosive ions, due to its low reaction rate, its material requirements forcrystallizing equipment are not high.

Ø  The purity of theproduced salts is higher than those produced through thermal crystallization, almostall can meet the standards for saleable industrial salts
