Catalytic Wet OxidationProcess(CWO) is a deep treatment technology for wastewater. Under a certaintemperature(170~300℃) and pressure(1.0~10Mpa), in a reaction vessel filled with dedicated fixedcatalysts, the treatment technology can use oxygen(air) to , once and for all, catalyticallyoxidize and decompose CODCr, TOC, NH3-N, cyanogen andother contaminants in the non-diluted high concentration industrial organicwastewater, into harmless components such as CO2, N2, andH2O(contact time 0.1~2.0h); simultaneously the technology can deodorize,decolorize as well as sterilize the industrial water, achieving the purpose ofwastewater purification.

Ø Capable of completely decomposing contaminants in ashort time into simple and harmless organics, the treated water meetingdischarge standards;
Ø No production of sludges orharmful secondary pollution gases such as SOx, NOx ;
Ø Highpollutants removal rates: CODCr≥95%, NH3-N≥97%, T-CN≥99%,volatile phenol≥99%;
Ø A wide range of applicationfields, suitable for a variety of industries and wastewaters, being widely usedin treating all kinds of high-concentration organic wastewaters, applicable tomost of industrial organic wastewaters, residential wastes and sludges, etc.
Ø Having special effects onthe treatment of high-concentration ammonia-nitrogen wastewaters;
Ø Due to high operatingtemperature and pressure and the system’s higher demand for automatic control,automatic control (temperature, pressure, air volume, reaction time)are adoptedby the system;
Ø Compact unit, smallengineering footprint, about 10%~20% of that occupied by conventionalbiological methods;
Ø Unlike traditionalbiological treatment methods, the unit is not subject to climate conditions;
Ø When a certain treatment scale is reached, energycan be recovered in the form of thermal energy;
Ø CWOtechnology can be used either independently or in combination with biochemical,chemical, physical and other treatment methods.
Application fields
CWO processing system issuitable for a wide range of applications(COD content ranges from5,000 to 300,000mg/L)and has a good effect in treating high-concentration organic wastewaters whichare difficult to be degraded by biochemical methods. It has been applied intreating such liquids as petrochemical oil refining alkali dreg wastewater,acrylic acid wastewater, sulfur dyestuff wastewater, high-concentration cokingwastewater, chemical synthetic perfume wastewater, landfill leachate,pharmaceutical wastewater, papermaking black liquor, molasses wastewater, itaconicacid wastewater, bake glue wastewater, pesticide wastewater and natural perfumewastewater.
